Renowned Ilorin-born entertainer, Mukaila Senwele, has passed away. According to family sources, he died on Friday, January 24, 2025. Hailing from the Esinrogunjo family compound in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, Mukaila was celebrated for his unique style and captivating performances, which endeared him to many socialites.
A family member disclosed that Mukaila showed no prior signs of illness. He had spent the day with fans and had planned to visit the family house later that night. Tragically, he was found unresponsive where he had been lodging with fans. Efforts to rush him to the hospital were unsuccessful. His Janazah (funeral prayer) is scheduled for Saturday morning.
Mukaila Senwele’s talent reached notable figures, including the Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi. The monarch fondly remembered a memorable performance by Mukaila at his palace, where the artist captivated attendees for about five minutes.
His sudden passing has left fans and the entertainment community in mourning. Mukaila’s contributions to the arts and his vibrant presence will be deeply missed.
